FURY, owned by Cheveley Park Stud and trained by William Haggas, made it two from two so far in his career when winning Europe’s most valuable two year old race of the season, the Tattersalls Millions 2yo Trophy. The colt won a maiden at Newbury last month and took home just over £278,000 on only his second start.

William Haggas commented “He’s got a good way about him. We were slightly worried about the ground but he did it well in the end. With these big races you have to be lucky with the draw and stall 24 was definitely an advantage. He’s not in anything else this season, but I’d hope that he would be Black Type in the future. Obviously it’s a long way away, but I will enter him in the guineas.”

PISCO SOUR, put up a good performance in second, with Formosina in third for the Jeremy Noseda yard. Prize money is distributed down to 10th place.

FURY has a half-brother by MOTIVATOR catalogued as lot 172 in the forthcoming Tattersalls October Yearling Sale Book 1 which starts on Tuesday, October 5th and features the only yearlings eligible for next year’s series.
