Clive Brittain’s MASAYA got the better of TALE UNTOLD in the Tattersalls Millions 2YO Fillies’ Trophy today at Newmarket and in the process picked up over £167,000 for owner Saeed Manana. The filly, who was bought at the 2009 Tattersalls October Sale Book 1 for 140,000gns has already picked up prize money in the valuable Tattersalls Millions, when she finished third behind Khor Sheed just over two weeks ago.

Her trainer commented afterwards “She is a tough filly and has now won plenty of money in the Tattersalls Millions. I told the jockey to ride the race as she found it and she travelled well throughout. I wasn’t sure about the ground but she didn’t seem to dislike it and that will be it for the year.”

TOGETHER, who finished second in the Fillies Mile last week, drifted across the course in the closing stages but managed to pick up third place prize-money for Aidan O’Brien. I LOVE ME, already a winner in the 2010/11 Tattersalls Millions finished fifth for Andrew Balding.

Book 1 of the Tattersalls October Yearling Sale, featuring the only yearlings eligible for next year’s series takes place from 5th – 7th October.
