SAMITAR £300K Millions

Irish 2,000 Guineas Winner SAMITAR campaigned successfully in the 2011 Tattersalls Millions

A total of ten horses have been declared for the £100,000 Tattersalls Millions Fillies’ Median Auction Stakes at Newmarket this Saturday at 1410 over six furlongs. The Mick Channon-trained Graphic Quest, an unlucky third at Salisbury in a Listed race last time out, is the hot favourite. The West Ilsley trainer commented: “She nearly lost an eye at Royal Ascot when she got under the stalls and fractured her eye socket, which we didn’t know until after the race, so I was really thrilled at how well she ran at Salisbury. I hope she runs a big race on Saturday at Newmarket and the ground won’t matter.”

A total of 11 horses have been declared for the £100,000 Tattersalls Millions Median Auction Trophy at Newmarket this Saturday at 1445 with Richard Hannon training 4 of the 11 runners. The hot favourite is Tamayuz Star, who was second to Steeler in a Listed race at Goodwood last time out.

Richard Hannon Jnr commented: “Tamayuz Star is a very talented horse and will benefit from coming back in trip as he just didn’t quite last home at Goodwood. A Ladies Man didn’t run his race at Newbury but he has been working well at home so we expect a lot of improvement on Saturday. Ceelo is a nice horse who deserves to take his chance as he will be suited by the track and trip and Global Icon would have to find a bit on form but would have a good chance off that weight.”
